New GRG-MP-8T welding machines commissioned in Czech Republic

At the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025, Cemsa supplied N.2 new GRG-MP8T-1600 resistance welding machines to a leading multinational company in the production of pressed and electro-forged gratings.

Destined to the factories in Romania and the Czech Republic, these plants represent an important step forward in automation and precision, contributing at improving production efficiency. The collaboration between this Client and Cemsa dates back to 2005, consolidating a relationship based on results of innovation, reliability and competence.

Advanced technology for optimized manufacturing

These new GRG-MP-8T machines are designed for the lateral edging of electro-forged and pressed gratings, used in the construction of stairs, walkways, fences and industrial infrastructures, requiring efficient and high-quality welding processes. Equipped with 8 hydraulic heads, a span of 1600 mm (there is a version with 6 heads, span 1200mm as well) with a three-phase DC rectifier transformer, these welding machines are fully manageable via touch screen and allow the operator to:
● select the welding program intuitively;
● view the work cycle in progress, optimizing the loading of the parts;
● automate the process with the possibility of integrating edge bar loading devices.

This latest innovation drastically reduces working times: the operator no longer has to manually load the individual strips, but only deals with the movement of the main panel. A saving of time and resources that translates into greater productivity.

Tripled efficiency, no need for expert welder

Thanks to the resistance welding technology of the strips, the GRG-MP-6/8T offer a productivity equivalent to that of three certified MIG/MAG welders, without the need for highly specialized personnel. This allows to optimize operating costs and guarantee constant and high-quality production.
